KAWABUN 's Cafe
Our teahouse looks out on two enclosed gardens created by the late Matsuo Sogo (Fusensai), head of the Matsuo-ryu school of Japanese tea ceremony.
There are hexagonal lanterns with short rods and strong presence, a stone basin reminiscent of the tea ceremony, dry landscapes using Nachi black, and a well curb with anecdotes unique to KAWABUN.
You can also enjoy afternoon tea limited to the day of the week in this special space.
